4. Our Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, SubSearch will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the user who posted the material of the removal
- Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice
- Take reasonable steps to notify the user of their right to file a counter-notice
Processing Time: We aim to process valid DMCA notices within 24-48 hours.
5. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our Copyright Agent containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in your district
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original DMCA notice
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
SubSearch has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. SubSearch may also, at its sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.

Users who receive multiple valid DMCA notices may have their accounts permanently suspended without prior notice.
7. Misrepresentation
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability. Penalties may include damages, court costs, and attorneys' fees.
8. Content Verification
While SubSearch takes copyright infringement seriously, we are not responsible for verifying the originality of all user-submitted content. It is the responsibility of users to ensure they have the necessary rights to post content on our platform.
9. Safe Harbor Compliance
SubSearch qualifies for the "safe harbor" provisions of the DMCA by:
- Not having actual knowledge of infringing activity
- Not receiving financial benefit directly attributable to infringing activity
- Acting expeditiously to remove or disable access to infringing material upon notification
- Designating an agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement
- Implementing a repeat infringer policy
- Accommodating standard technical measures used by copyright owners
10. International Considerations
While the DMCA is a U.S. law, SubSearch respects intellectual property rights globally. If you are located outside the United States and believe your copyright has been infringed, you may still file a DMCA notice or contact us to resolve the issue under applicable international copyright laws.

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
